Clare Emmert, OTD
she/her/hers
PELVIC FLOOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Dr. Clare Emmert is a licensed Doctor of Occupational Therapy with a strong background in trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming care. She earned her doctorate from Boston University in 2021 with undergraduate degrees in Family Studies & Human Development and Special Education & Rehabilitation from the University of Arizona. Clare's career has focused on centering occupational therapy in nontraditional spaces, such as building strength programs with neurodivergent athletes, educating physical rehabilitation practitioners on the value of trauma-informed care, and researching the impact of occupational therapy interventions on chronic conditions.
Clare is currently pursuing advanced certifications in pelvic health and lifestyle redesign, with special interests in the intersection between pelvic floor function, neurodiversity, and gender-affirming care. Clare is a strong believer that physical rehabilitation is rarely just physical, and that taking the time to address each person's unique experience, including the emotional impact of pain and limitation, is foundational to healing.
As an occupational therapist, Clare is passionate about helping you participate in the activities that give your life meaning, purpose, and joy. For Clare, these activities include running, singing with her a cappella group, exploring plant-based cooking, and trying every flavor of ice cream Boston has to offer with her husband.
