Our Pregnancy & Child Birth Prep Program:

You deserve to feel ready and empowered, with the knowledge and support you need to feel calm and confident heading into parenthood.

Whether you’re a first-time parent or not, we’re here to guide you through every step, no matter where you are in your journey. Pregnancy is a wild ride, and your care should reflect that. That’s why we offer a flexible, personalized timeline that grows with you as your body and baby change. Think of us as your pregnancy BFF — checking in with you regularly, making sure you’re feeling good, and offering advice when you need it.

Your baby moves into the space your pelvis provides–which means from early pregnancy to delivery day, your pelvic landscape is changing.

A lot.

We're here to help you navigate and adjust to every beautiful change and stage of pregnancy.

Together, we'll work on proper pushing for a vaginal delivery, perineal massage, best birth positions to help relax the pelvic floor muscles, and C-section basics so you can have a smoother delivery and postpartum recovery.

"Before having my first child, I wanted to prepare in every way possible..."

"While getting the nursery ready, buying the essentials, and stocking the fridge were all important, I quickly realized that preparing my body physically was just as crucial. Melissa not only helped me prepare my body physically but also provided significant mental support. I highly recommend seeing Melissa for treatment, whether you’re a soon-to-be mom or a new mom, and no matter where you are on your pelvic floor journey!”

Postpartum Care

Taking the time to focus on your body’s healing process after birth is essential. Your pelvic floor plays a pivotal role in this journey.

After childbirth, whether through vaginal delivery or C-section, your body has gone through a significant transformation, and requires active support to readjust and feel its best. The goal of postpartum recovery is not just to heal physically but to restore confidence and comfort in your body.

The first year postpartum is beautiful — but it can also be overwhelming, exhausting, and full of new changes that leave you wondering, "Am I doing this right?"

The truth is, you are.

But that doesn't mean you should do it alone. We’re here to check in with you regularly, adjusting your care as your body heals and your life shifts.

We'll guide you gently in prioritizing your health, engaging in supportive exercises, and addressing hormonal shifts post-childbirth. Your body is resilient, and with the right care and attention, you’ll emerge stronger and more empowered.

FROM OUR PATIENT MARY

"Melissa and the Wellest team were integral to my postpartum care..."

"After childbirth, it can feel like your OBGYN has moved on and there is very little follow up on your recovery. Knowledgeable, compassionate & warm, the Wellest team provided that much-needed care, which has set me up for the long-term. Since my time with them, I've had more babies and had the resources to recover from each birth smoothly. I can't recommend them enough!”

The changes don’t stop at child birth, and neither does our care.

FROM OUR PATIENT MARY

"I am so glad I found Wellest!"

“Kristin was amazing to work with throughout my pregnancy and the postpartum period. She always made me feel comfortable, is very knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to help -- things like referrals for services in the area, setting up play stations when the baby joined appointments, etc. I always felt I was in the hands of an expert, with answers to any questions about labor prep, PP recovery, exercises, etc. and truly felt prepared for the birth of my baby and recovery after. Highly recommend! Thank you, Kristin, for all of your help!”
